The Big Idea
Teens registered for our training program learn teaching, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills. At the end of a 2-hour training session, teen teachers receive the curriculum and rubrics needed to run their own summer writing camp for primary school students.
GLOW teen teachers strengthen their communities by providing academic support, reducing summer "brain drain," and bridging COVID learning losses. GLOW teachers learn how to operate a business and develop qualities and experiences will that make them stand out in university and job applications.
For Prospective Teen Teachers
Have you started thinking about a summer job? Want to earn money by doing more than just babysitting? Interested in adding to your college application credentials?
These are exactly the things that one GLOW Founder, Celine Glavan, was considering before the summer of 2020. She developed her own teacher-approved writing program for third grade students and made $3,000.
If you attend GLOW's 2-hour online training session, you will be given her exact curriculum, writing prompts, and rubrics to do the very same thing.
For Parents of Prospective Teen Teachers
If you enroll your teen, she will develop the business experience, public speaking skills, and confidence to set her apart in future employment opportunities. GLOW International is designed for teens all around the world, so your teen will be able to connect with other teen leaders Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America.
